Sharing My 2024 Vision Board with You... (2024)

Have you ever felt like you’re just going through the motions, not quite sure where you're headed or what you truly want? I've been there, and honestly, it’s a confusing place to be. That’s why, despite my usual skepticism, I found myself venturing into the world of vision boarding for 2024. It's not your typical ‘cut-out-from-magazines’ kind of board, but a digital canvas of dreams, goals, and a little bit of unexpected magic.

Personally, vision boarding has never really been my thing. I know, I know - in the world of manifestation and personal development, they're like the holy grail. But for me? It always seemed more like a chore. Even doing it online felt daunting. I'd have to scour Google for the right images, and then there was the whole process of sitting down and really, truly asking myself: What do I want?

However, my stance began to shift after stumbling upon an online pick-a-card tarot reading. I'm a sucker for these readings, and one fateful prediction in November 2023 urged me to start working on my 2024 vision board. Initially, I brushed it off. But then, something inside me sparked, and I thought, “Why not give it a try?”

To my surprise, I found myself genuinely enjoying the process. I fired up Canva, chose a sleek vision board template, and began the hunt for images that resonated with my aspirations. It was like piecing together a puzzle of my future, each image a fragment of what I hope to manifest.

This week’s post is a little window into that world – my vision board for 2024. I want to share not just the board itself, but the stories behind the images, the dreams they represent, and even the desires I've decided to let go of. It's a mix of ambition, self-reflection, and a dash of digital artistry.

Sharing My 2024 Vision Board with You... (1)

After setting up my digital vision board, I focused on encapsulating my dreams and goals into vivid images and symbols. Let me take you through some key elements:

1. More Exposure for My Music and Brand

Among the collage of aspirations on my board, several images symbolize my desire for increased exposure in my music and brand. Reflecting on 2023, I'm incredibly proud of my debut into indie candy pop, marked by the release of four singles and over 30,000 streams - a significant milestone for a new artist.

While numbers aren't my sole focus, they are a measure of growth and reach. In 2024, I aspire to see my monthly listeners on Spotify soar, aiming to break into the top 10,000 artists on the platform. It's not just about the statistics; it's about expanding the reach of my music, touching more hearts and ears.

Some images on my board include notable figures like Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo, but let me clarify: it's not about emulating these artists. Instead, these images represent my ambition for recognition and validation of my talent and hard work. I envision myself embodying the essence of a true professional artist, with the world recognizing and appreciating my contributions to music.

I dream of performing live, gracing the stages of award shows, and attending significant industry events. I’m approaching these aspirations with a light-hearted yet optimistic mindset, excited about the trajectory my music career is taking.

2. Reflection and Expression Through Writing

Recently, I’ve added a couple of intriguing symbols to my vision board - a typewriter and a mirror. These aren’t just random choices; they represent my desire to delve deeper into writing. I aim to craft pieces that mirror my growth, healing, and transformation. Whether through song lyrics or blog posts, my goal is to continue inspiring others with my words.

I feel strongly that my life’s purpose is to channel my emotions and experiences into my music and writing. In 2024, I plan to dedicate more time to this endeavor, honing my craft and sharing my journey with the world.

3. New House, New Car, New Me

This year marks a significant milestone for me - I'm wholeheartedly embracing the goal of buying my own home. Gone is the fantasy of the quintessential LA dream house; instead, I'm focusing on what truly matters: a home base where my family, my cats, and I can always find solace and comfort. I envision a space that embodies peace, productivity, and the warmth of family life.

One of my favorite parts of this vision? An expansive backyard with a barn for my outdoor cats. I long for a place that's not just a house, but a true home - a sanctuary that reflects my heart and soul, a comfortable retreat that I can always return to, no matter where my adventures take me.

And speaking of adventures, while I'm not entirely sure if 2024 will be a year of globetrotting for me, I definitely want to keep that door open. Traveling to South Korea is high on my list, a place I've longed to explore. Additionally, I foresee numerous trips to LA and New York, fueling my ambitious music career goals.

In essence, I'm envisioning a life where stability and adventure coexist harmoniously. A life where I can lay down roots in a place I love, while also having the freedom to soar and explore the world. It's about finding that perfect balance, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me.

What I've Removed:

Interestingly, I've recently made a conscious decision to remove the “Amazon Best Selling Author” image from my vision board. Those of you who follow my journey on Instagram might recall seeing it featured prominently when I first shared my board. However, upon deeper reflection, I've realized that the title of a best-selling author no longer aligns with my current aspirations.

Since diving into the world of freelance writing, my perspective and goals have shifted. The burning desire to write a bestseller has simmered to a gentle glow. I've found genuine fulfillment and joy in the process of writing itself - the act of weaving narratives and bringing ideas to life. It's in this journey where I find the most value and satisfaction.

I'm being honest when I say that the accolade of ‘bestseller’ doesn’t hold the allure it once did. My primary aim is to craft stories that resonate with me deeply, hoping they will likewise excite and move others. If my work brings enjoyment and provokes thought, that's the real victory.

Perhaps one day, the goal of becoming a best-selling author might find its way back onto my vision board or list of aspirations. But for now, I am content to leave it off. I'm embracing where I am in my creative journey, focusing on the joy and passion that come with storytelling, regardless of titles or accolades.

***

As we near the end of this intimate journey through my vision board, I hope you've enjoyed this glimpse into my goals and aspirations for the upcoming year. Sharing such personal details is always a bit terrifying for me, but I believe in the power of openness. By sharing my dreams, I hope to inspire you to dream big and aspire for more in your own life.

I firmly believe that our desires are also seeking us. They're not just whims or fanciful thoughts; they're the Universe's way of manifesting its grandeur through us. Our dreams are meant to be brought to life, to be realized in the physical world. As I stand at the threshold of this new year, I'm ready to embrace my desires fully and experience everything that's waiting for me. Are you ready to claim your desires and join me in this adventure?

Oh, and before I sign off, you might have spotted a mysterious guy in the corner of my vision board, the one I've playfully covered up with a sticker. Well, that's a little secret of mine – my future husband. That dream is a special one, held close to my heart, and for now, it's just for me 😉

Until next week! <3 Beck
