BUCKEYE, AZ (AZFamily) — Authorities made a disturbing discovery after a body was found in a Buckeye landfill on Wednesday morning.
Police say around 11:30 a.m., Buckeye police received reports of a body found at the Southwest Regional Landfill off of MC 85. As of Wednesday afternoon, officers are currently working to recover and identify the remains, believed to be a man.
An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the man’s cause of death. Authorities say a death investigation is underway.
